Lindsay Newton, M.S. is a psychotherapist at The Kimberly Center, where she provides individual and group therapy using a structured, DBT, CBT, and trauma-focused approach. Her clinical work focuses on helping clients develop emotional regulation, behavioral stability, and more effective interpersonal functioning.
Lindsay is currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University, and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University.
She has experience treating adolescents and adults presenting with personality-related patterns, severe mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, self-harm behaviors, chronic suicidality, and complex trauma. Her clinical approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused interventions to support clients in building greater psychological flexibility, distress tolerance, and relational stability.
Lindsay brings a thoughtful, grounded, and skills-oriented presence to her work and is particularly attuned to clients who are high-functioning yet struggle with emotional intensity, impulsivity, or entrenched self-defeating patterns.
